Lettings Director

Richard is the Lettings Director for Barbers and oversees our successful Lettings and Property Management Department's. As a valued member of the team, Richard has worked for over 30 years with Barbers when he joined after leaving school and has worked as an auctioneer before specialising in Residential Property Lettings.

Richard is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and has gained his certificate in Residential Lettings and Management through the National Association of Estate Agents. His experiences have driven him to develop a strong team of Letting and Property Management specialists, who all have exceptional knowledge of their market place and the locations we operate in, whilst maintaining excellent customer levels of customer service.

Barbers' Lettings and Property Management department is among the largest and most successful in Shropshire and this is in no small part down to Richard's skill and experience.

What is your role at Barbers?
I am the director of lettings, responsible for overseeing our wonderful letting and property management department. Having been letting properties in the area at Barbers for over 25 years, I am vastly experienced in dealing with all property types and enjoy nothing more than discussing the rental market with landlords and tenants throughout our network of offices, maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
My first ever job was working in a bowling Alley, I wasn’t full time, just Tenpin

I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a-hand on, I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them (Marion Robert Morrison) When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I grew up on a farm, so I guess I wanted to be a farmer and part time professional footballer!
