Mark is Branch Manager & Valuer for Barbers Newport branch and has extensive knowledge of Residential Property Marketing, having worked in Estate Agency and Auctioneering since 1984, giving Mark 26 years experiencing the ups and downs of the local property market.

Mark Originally joined Barbers at our Market Drayton Branch as Branch Manager where he remained as Manager until 1999, before moving to manage our Telford Branch. Mark is a valued member of the team who has been successful at every office he has worked in and has settled into our Newport office where he has been manager for nearly 2 years.

As a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, Mark offers a wealth of Residential Sales experience, as well as having extensive knowledge of the local and wider Shropshire and Telford areas.

Mark is married with 2 teenage girls who are both at school locally and enjoys watching sport and long country walks having retired from playing rugby.

Simon, Residential Property Branch Manager for Barbers Shrewsbury, previously worked with Barbers between 2000-2008 and has returned in 2010. In his previous role Simon managed Barbers Wellington office until 2006, before moving to the Shrewsbury office, to develop the business and become Valuations Manager for the Shrewsbury area. In the spring of 2008 Simon left Barbers to further his professional career with a National Surveying Practice GVA Grimley in Birmingham, where he was Senior Surveyor in the Healthcare Department, dealing with Valuations and Agency of operational and non operational care homes, private hospitals and special schools.

Simon is delighted to return to Barbers, where he will be providing a highly personalised, innovative and professional approach to the sale and letting of residential properties in the Shrewsbury area. Alongside his local property knowledge, Simon will be utilizing the latest technology and professional marketing but above all Simon will provide a first class personal service to clients.

In his new role Simon will be liaising with local professionals including other surveyors, accountants, solicitors and finance brokers to promote the long established Barbers brand.

Outside of work Simon lives in Shrewsbury with his partner Emma, son Sam and daughter Isabella and is a member of Shrewsbury Golf Club and Condover Cricket Club. Aside from his family, sport is a major part of his life for fellowship and continued professional contacts.

Mark is Branch Manager & Valuer for Barbers Whitchurch Branch and is a valued member of our team, having joined Whitchurch Branch as Manager in 2004. After graduating from University, Mark worked in a Valuation Office in Stoke and Shrewsbury in a variety of property related jobs, from valuing houses for council tax purposes, to working in the land and taxation departments, assessing properties for inheritance tax and capital gains tax valuations. He also worked as a Land Acquisition Surveyor on behalf of the major mobile phone companies.

Andrea, is Head of the New Homes Division of Barbers, which offers a specialist service to reputable house builders and developers across the region. During her time with Barbers, Andrea has gained considerable experience working directly with a wide range of property developers. Her role concentrates on selling the finest new homes through Barbers networked branches and via on-site offices across Shropshire and its surrounding counties.
