Barbers complete over 200 SPS application forms each year for farms across the country. Our knowledge and expertise allows the efficient completion of the SPS application form and the ability to quickly identify and address any potential issues.
Barbers also assists with payment and application problems, entitlement transfers and sales, and land registration for the SPS and stewardship schemes.
Facts about SPS
The Single Payment Scheme has been up and running since 2005. The scheme is a direct aid payment to farmers based partly on the area of land they hold and partly on historic livestock numbers and cereals grown. The ratio changes between what proportion of the area and historical elements make up the payment. Each year, the area payment increases and the historical payment decreases.
Applications are made by 15th May each year to claim a payment from the Rural Payments Agency.
