Barbers Lettings announces the latest qualifications achieved by its staff

Barbers is pleased to announce that Julie Armstrong, Lettings Valuer for Barbers Lettings in Market Drayton, joins Market Drayton lettings Manager Jean Morris and Property Management Manager Louise Groves in passing the National Federation of Property Professionals Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. This is a required qualification for entry to the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA), the only self-regulating body specialising in the private rented sector. Julie Armstrong comments that “this confirms that I have the technical knowledge to assure prospective landlords that they are dealing with an agent who is serious about giving a professional service and offering sound advice and following the best practises in the industry.”

Inventory Provider, John Roberts and Property Management Manager, Louise Groves have also both obtained the qualification recognised by The Association of Professional Inventory Providers (APIP) who offers a recognised standard of inventory provision. Louise Groves comments “With the recent changes in legislation with regards to registering deposits with tenancy deposit schemes, the provision of a clear and concise inventory is a crucial.”  John Roberts Barbers Inventory Provider adds “Producing a detailed and accurate inventory is more important than ever and protects all parties involved.”
