Mark is Branch Manager & Valuer for Barbers Newport branch and has extensive knowledge of Residential Property Marketing, having worked in Estate Agency and Auctioneering since 1984, giving Mark 26 years experiencing the ups and downs of the local property market.

Mark Originally joined Barbers at our Market Drayton Branch as Branch Manager where he remained as Manager until 1999, before moving to manage our Telford Branch. Mark is a valued member of the team who has been successful at every office he has worked in and has settled into our Newport office where he has been manager for nearly 2 years.

As a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, Mark offers a wealth of Residential Sales experience, as well as having extensive knowledge of the local and wider Shropshire and Telford areas.

Mark is married with 2 teenage girls who are both at school locally and enjoys watching sport and long country walks having retired from playing rugby.

Karen is Residential Negotiator for Barbers Newport branch and has a wealth of experience in the property industry, having worked in New Homes and Estate Agency for over 10 Years. Beginning her career in the New Homes Department at our Shrewsbury branch, before moving to Newport in 2009, Karen's experience and exceptional customer service skills provides her in good stead to drive successful property sales.

Collette is Residential Sales & Lettings Negotiator at Barbers Newport Branch, providing a personal and proactive approach to the Sale and Lettings of Residential property within Newport and the surrounding area.

Having joined Barbers in the summer of 2010, Collette has become an integral part of this enthusiastic team. Prior to working for Barbers, Colette gained considerable experience in Direct Mail and office administration. She also has a keen interest in Business Networking and runs a local Business Networking Club.

Dawn was born and educated in the Newport area and still lives in the town, so she has excellent knowledge of the area. Dawn has always had an interest in property and thoroughly enjoys her role as a property sales negotiator at our Newport Branch.

Claire Jones - Administrator (Maternity Leave)

Claire is currently on maternity leave but orginally rejoined the team at Barbers in 2010 as an Administrator, after previously working with us between 1997 and 2008 in the Commercial and Telford Residential branch. In her role Claire creates sales particulars, prepares local advertising and supports the Residential Sales Team in the day to day running of the branch and is an important member of the team.

Louise Sharp - Administrator

Louise joined the Newport office in August 2011 to support the team while Claire is away on maternity leave. With Louise’s career history predominantly being in recruitment, she has a strong sales and administration background and is excited to be part of the Barbers team due to her genuine passion for property and interior design. In her role, Louise creates sales particulars, prepares local advertising and supports the Residential Sales Team in the day to day running of the branch and is an important member of the team.

Nigel, is an independent Mortgage Advisor for Mortgage Advice Bureau, working across Barbers 5 Shropshire Branches. Joining Barbers in September 2010, Nigel has extensive knowledge of his profession with over 20 years experience in the mortgage industry and more specifically 6 years as a Mortgage Adviser.
