Barbers staff wear pink to support the Breast Cancer Campaign
24th November 2009
Friday 30th October saw all the staff of Barbers wearing pink to support the Breast Cancer Campaign and the "It's Time To Wear It Pink" charity day. This was an ideal time for all the female members of staff to indulge their love of all things pink plus the rare opportunity to get the male members of staff to get in touch with their feminine side.
Barbers raised £70.00 for this worthwhile cause and helped to raise awareness by displaying the posters in its windows and also giving out pink stickers to customers.
Breast Cancer Campaign aims to beat breast cancer by funding ground-breaking research. This will help them to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis and treatment, as well as a prevention and cure.
Barbers will be supporting this annual event and hope that next year we can make it even more pink and raise more money for this worthwhile charity.
